A student of mine has written a report about Rosenberg's work on the
immunotherapeutic treatment of melanoma. In a March 99 PNAS paper, his
group reports that the induction of experimental autoimmune vitiligo causes
the destruction of transplanted melanoma cells in mice. This raises an
interesting question: do people with vitiligo have a lower incidence of
melanoma? Any data?
