Protein+alum incubation overnight?

In a planned experiment I am intending to incubate a test protein
overnight at room temperature in the presence of alum prior to
innoculation. I know the protein is stable in PBS at room temperature
overnight and can generate an immune response. Question: is incubation
with alum likely to cause damage to the protein that may affect its
immunogenicity?
