It says that the success of the immune system depends on its ability to
discriminate between foreign (nonself) and host (self) cells.
It also implies (book) that Normally, the immune system does not mount to a
response against self. This lack of an immune response is called tolerance.
So what is the concept of self? tolerance to immune system?
