Requirements:
Candidates must be from outside European union and have completed a PhD
degree or equivalent foreign degree by start date. Candidates with
experience in immunology and molecular biology will be given preference.
A publication record in English language journals is desirable.
Duties:
This postdoctoral position is available to identify and characterize
peptidic mimics of lipopolysaccharide epitopes from phage-display
libraries and to evaluate (improve) their immunogenicity in mice as
compared to other peptidic mimics (e.g: anti-idiotypes expressed as ScFv
antibodies). Duties will include participating in the design,
implementation, and evaluation of research studies; analyzing data;
collaborating on reports; publishing findings; and miscellaneous duties.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Start date: March 1, 2000 or later, until dec 31, 2002.
