Vaccinia Detection

Any suggestions as to how I can detect/quantify vaccinia infection ?

Background : I employ recombinant vaccinia as vectors, infecting autologous
B-LCL lines with them. These infected cells are then used as antigen
presenters to purified PBMC. I cannot look for the genes/gene products
that the vaccinia carries as reagents for these are not available. I would
ideally like to be able to use flow cytometry to be able to gauge the
efficacy (and even amount) of infection - just due to the fast turn around
time for facs .

Any suggestions to techniques/antibodies available. Any info would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks !
