Inhibition of phagocytosis

We would like to totaly inhibit the monocoyte phagocytosis in vitro
before reinjecting the cells to patients. Does anybody know what could
be the best procedure ti inhibit the phagocytosis of monuclear cells,
without any deleterious effect on these cells.
