Not exactly the same system but when I use a SpeedVac to dry down small amounts I sometimes use a heater to speed things up. What if you try a warming step under vaccuum? Warm enough to drive off the moisture but not so warm as to affect your live bugs. Allison (also "up here" in Canada <G>)
