Targetting a journal?

Tue Feb 8 17:23:39 EST 1994

One proposed purpose of this forum was to foster exchange of information
about the journals which biomedical scientists publish. The decision as to
which journal to send your work is an important one and what a journal says
its policies and procedures are may not necessarily be so.

However, there has been very little debate on this matter. For about a
month this forum has been quite silent! Does this mean that the journals are
doing just a superb job and there are no problems? I suspect not. To try to
encourage people to relate there experiences, good and bad, concerning journals
it might be better to target a particular journal for debate. Does anyone out
there think that would be worth trying?

                                       Sincerely, Don Forsdyke
