Subject: [EP-tech] EPrints related job at Southampton

The University of Southampton are advertising a post to support the
university eprints archive

My understanding is that this will be running the uni. install of
eprints. It won't involve working
on the core development.

Specialist to work on the Institutional Research Repository. This is a
two year fixed term post in the first instance. You will be involved in
the support and development of the University's E-Prints Archive,

Services and primarily supporting project technology developments in the
University Library. You will maintain the existing institutional
repository and will be expected to evolve the service to meet current
and future University needs. You should have a good degree or equivalent
qualification, and relevant experience (3 years minimum) to include
experience of SQL, HTML, PERL, PHP, XML, and MYSQL. The ability to solve
problems and to communicate effectively are also required.

The post is available for 2 years in the first instance. For an informal
