Earless/forage corn info?

Hello,

I am not updated about "corn varieties developed especially for forage use
and that do not produce grain".
However, my guess is that such varieties would not produce grain only when
cultivated at a very high plant density (suitable for obtaining good
forage). On the opposite, I espect them to produce reasonable ear/grain at
regular or low plant density.
