Charter for MEDICAGO:

Bionet.organisms.medicago is a forum for the Medicago research community,
primarily for investigators studying Medicago truncatula as a model
organism. It is expected that topics often will be of interest to the
broader legume research community. The purpose of the newsgroup is to
enable rapid exchange of information between investigators around the
world to facilitate research progress.

The newsgroup is moderated.  It is initially available as a mailing
list only.  As subscribers and interest warrants, it will be created
as a Usenet group (bionet.organisms.medicago).
