2014 Wisconsin Plant Proteomics Workshop

July 21st-25th, 2014, University of Wisconsin-Madison

To all interested plant biologists:

We invite you to apply to attend the 2014 Wisconsin Plant Proteomics
Workshop to be held from July 21st through the 25th at the University
of Wisconsin-Madison.

Put together by three researchers who have published extensively on
the proteomic analysis of Medicago truncatula and Arabidopsis, the
week-long workshop is designed to familiarize attendees with cutting
edge quantitative mass spectrometry proteomic techniques. The goal is
to enable plant researchers to more fully take advantage of
instrumentation in their own labs or in shared facilities. The course
will include both lectures and hands-on lab experiments covering the
basics of protein digestion all the way through the bioinformatic
approaches for evaluating mass spectrometry-based proteomic data.

Due to the in-depth nature of the workshop, there are a finite number
of slots and applications are due by April 1st. There is no fee to
attend the workshop, and lodging and meals are included. There are
also a small number of travel awards available. Please email Dr.
Timothy Rhoads at ppw from biotech.wisc.edu for application material or
visit the website:http://www.biotech.wisc.edu/ppw

Thank you for your attention,
