A number of fluorometric methods exist for DNA quantification using DNA
specific fluorochromes e.g DAPI, Hoechst 33258 etc. which are very useful
for quantifying DNA in environmental samples with limited clean up.
Has anybody used similar methods for RNA with RNA specific dyes?
If so could you mail me with the dye name, source and a reference or indication
of the protocol.
Thanks in advance
