Transformation of Dam(+) DNA into a DAM(-) strain.

As the subject indicates, my colleagues and I are having difficulty
transforming Dam(+) DNA (pBluescript with our insert) into a Dam(-)
strain.  They have been using the traditional Calcium Chloride
method of transformation.

We would appreciate any suggestions in this regard.  The Dam(-)
strain is GM161.
