I heard recently of a method for detecting and quantifying RNA using short
complimentary oligos, labelled 5' with 32-P and with a nonsense 3' tail. After
hybridization the single-strand nonsense tail is digested with S1 nuclease and
the oligo gel-separated. Does anybody have a reference for this method, or
better still, a detailed protocol?
Thanks in advance.
