Denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis

It is apparent that DGGE is highly useful for analysis of small
sequence differences between different DNA. Of the 2 basic
approaches (i.e. gradient of denaturant run at constant temp. and
constant denaturant run in temperature gradient), I kind of like
the latter approach since I don't have much experience making
gradient gels. The difficulty with the temperature gradient
method is the apparatus. So far I am aware of only one company
(Qiagen) which offers such an apparatus for several thousand dollars.
My question is whether anyone knows of another company which has
such an apparatus. If anyone also has had experience making such
an apparatus, I would appreciate hearing from you too. Thanks.
