Sorry about the extra posting.
I am running RNA in agarose gels after denaturation using glyoxal/DMSO. As I
understand it, glyoxal forms adducts onto "G's", preventing hybridization.
These adducts can be removed by alkaline (pH >8) conditions.
Would it be possible to ethanol precipitate glyoxalated DNA or RNA and preserve
