Betagen sequencers

Hello,

	We are considering buying a sequencing system from Betagen, the AutoTrans 350.
 This is one of those machines where you run an acrylamide gel and the DNA
pieces come out the bottom onto a nylon membrane which is slowly rolling past
it.   The DNA is then visualized with chemiluminescence on film.
	We are also considering the Film Mate Film Scanner from the same company.
	Does anyone out there have experience with these or similar systems? 
Warnings? Praise?
