Dig Southern Blocking

To all you Dig chemiluminescent users-  what are you all using for blocking you
r filters prior to Ab addition.  Can you use store bought nonfat dry milk inste
ad of Boehringer's exorbitant "blocking reagent".  I am afraid of phosphatase a
ctivity in the milk and find that    NFDM cannot be autoclaved (it becomes a cl
otted mess) to kill any activity.  Anyone tried 1 or 2% NFDM without autoclavin
g?
