dear netters,
something has been puzzling me for some time.
a lot of people are using anti-sense RNA to inactivate transcripts. Does
this mean that the endogenous sense transcript is indeed destroyed
in the target cells ? does it completely disappear ? what is
the proposed mechanism for breakdown of a double stranded
RNA molecule (are there enzymes that recognize these moieties) ?
