I tried the blotting onto Xerox paper, as described in Analytical Biochemistry
v.200, pp. 249-253, by Yom and Bremel, and it works. With 4200DP as well as
4024DP type Xerox paper. However, it doesn't coomassie stain-or rather, it
doesn't destain. It seems to be effective for both Westerns and
autoradiography though. Perhaps other staining techniques would work on it.
