Hello fellow netters,
I'm after any info/hints/protocols/suggestions you might have regarding the
PCR detection of transgenic plants. We've used a binary Ti system using
A. tumafaciens to (presumably) make the transgenic plants, but as they're
onle small little plantlets so far, I was considering a PCR approach to
testing for the presence of the intoduced construction. (Only 1 leaf
needed).
Please send any ideas or experiences you've had with such methods to me and
I'll summarise to the group.
Thanxs in advance,
Cheers,
Jeremy
