Hello, Maybe this is not the proper forum, but I will give it a try. Does anybody know if guanine or some of its analogues, such as 6-thioguanine or azaguanine fluoresces? I would like to try to use this fluorescence as a probe for binding of guanine to an enzyme. Any suggestions? Johan de Boer jdboer at sol.uvic.ca
