DNA extraction from tumor samples

Hello networld!  Does anybody have any tried and true methods or
suggestions for extracting DNA from tumor samples (frozen or formalin-
fixed tissue)  The DNA will be used to detect oncogenes and/or tumor
suppressor genes using PCR.  If there is interest, I will post results.
My apologies if this has been covered recently.  Thanks for any and all
suggestions.
