RNA from paraffin embedded tissues

    Dear Colleagues,
    Recently a simple technique for extracting RNA and DNA from paraffin 
    embedded tissues was described in TIG (9(7):231). Does anyone have
    any experience with the method - is it really that easy ? 
    I am hoping to extract RNA from brain tumour specimens and use it
    for Differential Display.
    Are there any suggestions or reservations people have ?
