Rainbow markers-Precision?

        Conjugation of a dye to a protein will most certainly change its
mobility in a gel.  I analyzed FITC conjugated proteins as a control in one
of my papers.  The FITC-proteins all migrated slightly slower than the native
proteins with some showing multiple bands presumably dependent upon the
