Stratagene's TOPP E.coli strains

Dear Bionetters,
     Has anyone out there tried any of Stratagene's TOPP E. coli
(non K-12) strains for foreign protein expression?  Before I
invest big $$$$ (they only sell them as comp.  cells not stabs)
I thought I'd solicite opinions from netspace.  Please email
any experiences good or bad.  I will post a summary.  Thanks
