For what it is worth, we have just invested in a Socorex repeater pipette.
The "combitips" for this are branded "ECOSTEP". Having seen the
previous postings on the eppendorf combitips, I got worried and had a go at
autoclaving some of ours (ready assembled @121C for 15mins). I then
checked the callibration by repeat pipetting distilled water on a balance.

Results: no cracking of tips, error <0.7% (frequently <0.2%) over volume
range of 10-500ul per dispense, 10-100 dispenses (honest, I was
surprised too!).

Maybe "ecostep" tips fit the eppendorf pipettor (the barrel has a square
flange of side approx 20 mm, the plunger has a round flange of dia approx
11.5mm)

Usual disclaimers,
Cheers,
