Isolation of DNA from clotted blood

Hi,

Every now and then a blood sample arrives in bad conditions... It's
tough, but the analysis still has to be carried out and the patient
doesn't care if someone forgot the anticoagulant! :)

Anyway, the procedure we now use gives us very poor results, and we
would very much like to know what other people in the same field do.
