RNA quantitation by size of organism?

Does anyone know of a general method for estimating the amount
of RNA based on the size of an organism?  For instance, I am interested
in estimating RNA yield for a parasite larvae that is about
75 x 30 x 30 microns, without actually collecting enough material
to do an RNA prep and subsequent spec determination.  Thanks in advance
for any ideas.
