Thanks to everyone who emailed me in answer to my query about 5' RACE. The consensus seems to be that the 5'-AmpliFINDER kit of CLONTECH is an advance over the 5' RACE technology. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has actually used this kit hands on and can let me know how good it is. Martyn White
