Growing epithelial cells

Hello Bionetters,

I have a friend who has been trying to grow a murine thyroid cell line and
is have GREAT dificulties. It seems the cells can "get going" if
provide with some interluekin and TSH(Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) but
even then they kick-off afterr a couple of weeks. Any suggestions?
Sorry I don't have the cell line's name handy but ANY response/help
is appreaciated.
