storage of proteins (-20/-70C)

Most commercial proteins and enzymes which require storage at subzero
temperatures are dissolved in 50%(v/v) glycerol supplemented with
the certain salts and stabilizers (e.g. dithiothreitol) necessary
for the maintenance of structural and functional integrity.
