NEWS FLASH:

The name of the product is "Silver Sequence" (tm), and it is sold 
by Promega (Fisher Scientific).

According to the advertisement (Biotechniques, April, 1993, Pg 667):

- Bands are stained and visualized right in the gel.
- Staining takes ~1 1/2 hours with "minimal 'hands-on' time."
- "...SILVER SEQUENCE is less expensive [than using radioisotopes]"
