Plasmid expression libraries

	We are thinking of using a plasmid expression library to screen for
  an RNA binding protein in E. coli.  Has anyone used a northwestern type
  screening procedure on a plasmid library? If so, is this better or worse 
  than using a gt11 library? Anyone have a good protocol for this? Any help
