Does anyone know the cause and/or way to prevent blotchy backgrounds in nonradioactive northerns and southerns. I have had the problem with both digoxigenin and biotin based systems, and I have not been able to get an explanation or solution from the manufacturers. Neal Cornell cornell at mbl.edu
