More tobacco root tissue

Hi Netters,
I am wanting to grow more root tissues of
tobacco to make nuclear extracts for gel-shift
assays. Would anyone know of any relatively
quick and non-sterile method of achieving this?
Is there any hydroponics type of set-up for 
tobacco? I would appreciate any help on this
