The peroxidase activity from plants (from chlorophyll) can be eliminated on the
blots immediately after blotting by incubating the blots with hydrogen peroxide
(add about 5 mL of H2O2 to 100 mL of wash solution). The H2O2 will destroy the
peroxidase activity.
