PVA in blocking?

Hi all netters!

I have a question concerning blotting. Has any of you used polyvinylalcohol as
blocking substrate? In short it is PVA (30-70 kDa). I read an article or tips &
notes in Analytical Biochemistry where they used it. It was promising they
postulated. Anyway I want to know if it is useful in western blotting and in
what conditions. Thanks. 

P.S Other good blocking suggestions are welcome too!
