nucleotides assay

Dear Netters,

I would like to know, if there is any simple test to detect free 
nucleotides (like CTP, GDP or UMP). We are trying to purify a kind of 
enzyme cofactor and would like to confirm our hypothesis it is a derivate 
of nucleotides. Our cofactor is not pure and the absorption spectrum we 
have speaks for a nucleotide but there is still some contaminations in.
