There were some articles on gels sticking to sequencing gel plates. In
NZ there is a cheaper alternative to some of the remedies suggested that
work quite well. I use a non-stick food coating called Chef Mate (by
Johnson) it is just soy bean oil in a spray can. Spray it on, wipe almost
all of it off leaving a thin even layer, and the gel don't stick. Cheap
and works 9/10 times.
But cleaning the plates brialliantly before hand is also a major factor in
avoiding bubbles and other nasties.
