PCR enhancers

A simple question:

What is the stuff that is actually in the various PCR enhancers that
are on the market, such as Stratagene's "Perfect-Match"? We
occasionally stumble upon ingredients that enhance specificity in
particular cases of PCR: for example, total yeast RNA enhanced
specificity in a recent reaction vs the same reaction without RNA.
However, we have never tried to determine the generality of such
observations, and have not noticed any obvious pattern.
