Thermal Cyclers

Hi netters
apologies if this is repeat question
I do a fair amount of cycle sequencing for an ABI 373A instrument
and I am getting tired of using oil to cover the 96-well microtitre
plate for DYE-Primer reactions. The use of the strip tubes (PEC or
Robbins) becomes expensive.
So the questions are
1. has anybody a system for sealing 96-well microtitre plates for use
with pelletier cyclers ?
2. How well do the thermal AIR cyclers perform for cycle-sequencing ?
