Large-scale DNA cleanup

Currently I have been using either GeneClean or Promega's DNA Cleanup Kit 
to purify chromosomal DNA from plants. They work fine, but the cost and 
binding capacity of these kits prohibits their use with larger ( > 1 mg ) 
of DNA. I realize I could use CsCl, but considering the number of samples 
it would be prohibitive. Is their an alternative method?
