Long Ranger sequencing gels

At our lab, we are going to change from standard polyacrylamid chemsitry
for our sequencing gels. We would like to know if anyone has
positive/negative experience of the Long Ranger system (At Biochem). We
currently use salt gradients, which enables use to read up to 600
bases/reaction.
Any comments greatly appreciated.
