Help! "Hot" PCR probe for Northern Blots?

I make a normal PCR mix except for dNTPs
which are .2mM for A,G,T (as usual) and .02 um dCTP.
I usually use 2 ul 32pdCTP (20 uCi) in a 20 ul reaction.
Normal 35 cycles too. Make a cold control by adding
cold dCTP to the mix. Works a treat and there's no need to column.

Good luck,

Vince
