transfection of T-cells

You realize, don't you, that electroporation will kill a lot of your cells but
that is ok?  I've been told that an optimal electroporation of mammalian cells
will kill about 1/2.  Also, have you tried varying the voltage of electroporation?  Different cell lines are most efficient at different voltages, so play
around with a reporter plasmid (CAT, Luciferase, whatever) that you can use
as a positive control and see if your cells can be electroporated to some
degree of efficiency.
