Looking for: Method for sequencing 5prime ends of cDNA ("RACE")

Hello to all,
we want to elucidate the 5prime end of a cDNA of which we find in the
library only clones with incomplete inserts. We have the tissue to isolate 
mRNA which we want to use for completing the 5prime end sequence by RACE
(rapid amplification of cDNA ends). Has anyone a good protocoll? Has anyone 
experience with CLONTECH 5prime-Amplifinder RACE kit?
