Putting biotin on primers

Is there a method to put biotin on to already existing primers?  With the success
we've had with sequencing  PCR products from biotinylated primers separated
by streptavidin mag beads, it seems like the way to go.

I've heard of photobiotin but it only modifies 1 nucleotide per 100 and that
is not enough.  It would be uneconomical to have to resythesize already
existing primers with biotin.
