Ras activity assay

Hi!
	We have been performing ras activity assays where we 
immunoprecipitate ras and then analyze the levels of GDP/GTP by TLC.  We 
have been observing a fair amount of hydrolysis of the bases to GMP, 
which should not be present following the precipitaiotn of the ras and 
subsequent washings.  The protocol we are using is the one published in 
methods in enzymology.  Any suggestions to help prevent hydrolysis of the 
bases would be appreciated.  Thanks.
